SHOE Glass Railing System

SHOE™ Structural Glass Railing System (U.S. Patent #9127474) is an aluminum glass railing system with a patented compression set aluminum base shoe system.  SHOE™ Glass Railing is a great choice for commercial interior or exterior, balcony railing or stair railing applications.

This architectural railing solution provides fall protection barrier without obstruction to view or an unsightly barrier.

SHOE™ Aluminum Glass Railing can be either top or fascia mounted. It is available with a glass bracket mounted handrail, round top cap or a U-channel top cap.

VIVA Railings dry set system reduces the installation time by almost 50%, hence a reduced final cost to the customer.

LED illumination is available in the handrail, top cap or even in the SHOE™ base.  Lighting the SHOE™ base or top cap provides a glow to the glass panel.
This glow becomes even more dramatic with an etched pattern or logo which catches the emitted light.  VIVA’s iRAIL Product Line is ETL Certified; the ETL Mark is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards.

VIVA Railings has partnered with SIKA Corporation for Waterproof SHOE System applications. Glass panels are embedded into VIVA base SHOE using Sika’s 2-Component self-leveling polymer grout and weather sealants. This is an ideal combination of products to provide a watertight joint backed by a waterproofing warranty from Sika and a standard product warranty from VIVA Railings.
