Glass panels are embedded into VIVA base SHOE using Sika’s 2-Component self-leveling polymer grout and weather sealants. This is an ideal combination of products to provide a watertight joint backed by a waterproofing warranty from Sika and a standard product warranty from VIVA Railings.
VIVA's SHOE Glass Railing System features a patented compression-set aluminum base shoe designed to perform reliably in wet and weather-exposed environments, making it a popular choice for pool decks, rooftop terraces, waterfront properties, and exterior balconies. The waterproof base shoe design helps prevent water intrusion at the base connection, protecting the substructure below from moisture damage while maintaining a clean, frameless glass appearance.
