How Your Bid Moves Now

If you've sent us an invitation to bid recently, you may have noticed a new name in the email thread. Here's the important part first: your relationship with your Business Development Manager hasn't changed. This new process is built so they can serve you at an even higher level.

What's different is everything that happens in two phases before and after that point. Our Intake and Estimating Teams own Phase 1, everything from the Invitation to Bid (ITB) through a finished Proposal. From there, your Business Development Manager's team owns Phase 2, Proposal Submission through Scope Review to Award, exactly what they've always owned.

Same Point of Contact, Backed by a Dedicated Team

Through all of this, your Business Development Manager stays exactly where they've always been: at the center of the relationship. They still receive your finished proposal, present it, and own follow-up through close.

The only real difference is who else might show up in your inbox along the way. You may hear from a member of our Intake Team during project setup, and/or from an Estimator during scope review, both working toward the same proposal your BDM ultimately brings back to you.

One Standardized Process, Every Territory

Previously, how an Invitation to Bid (ITB) moved from your inbox into an actual price could vary depending on the territory and the rep handling it. That's no longer the case. Every ITB we receive now moves through the same centralized process, from Intake through Estimating, regardless of project size or location.

A Complete Package, the First Time

A dedicated Intake Team now owns project setup for every bid we receive. That means our Estimating Team starts with a complete, standardized package instead of piecing one together as questions come up, which is where most delays used to creep in. Our Estimators then perform a precise takeoff and initiate Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure we submit an accurate, comprehensive proposal.

The result is less back-and-forth, a faster turnaround, and a proposal built to maximize the value we deliver on your project.
