Our SOLO™ Ornamental Stainless Steel Glass Railing System exquisitely balances an unobstructed view with contemporary elegance. This railing system is ideal for balcony balustrades (as illustrated in the Toyota U.S. Headquarters stainless steel railings), commercial building atriums, and monumental stair railings. The variety of mounting options available (top, fascia, or core mount) means that whatever the demands of your design, VIVA will be able to provide the right solution.

VIVA’s tempered glass infills provide optimal line of sight as well as an understated elegance. Our glass infills range from a minimum of 3/8″ PVB or SGP laminated glass. Colored, patterned and frosted glass are additional options based on design intent and need.

PROJECT TEAM

The Architectural Alliance & Interclad, Inc. flipped this design to hide the posts on the inside of the glass, creating a floating effect. Here at Viva Railings, we custom fabricate all of our systems to accommodate any design preference.

The University of Minnesota Biomedical Genomics Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota used over 350 linear ft. of our SOLO railings system for Monumental stair railing application in the buildings 4 story atrium. The above standard height of the custom acid etched glass along with the hidden LED lights created a bioluminescent effect that reflects the science building perfectly. This minimalistic stainless steel system utilized ultra-slim bar posts that almost disappear from the line of sight. SOLO is uniquely designed with a cohesive line flow & multi-function parts.
